    Is it ok to use fire logs (the ones that come in a wrapping) in a stove ?

    You're not supposed to use them in closed fires (stoves) it says it on the package

    Unfortunately not all packages carry instructions....
    I saw a pallet load of wrapped fire logs in a petrol filling station the other day and the wrapping simply said "Fire logs". I asked the shop attendants if logs were suitable for stoves and they didn't know.

    Ps. I didn't buy.

    Been using firelogs in my stove for years. I can't think of a reason why not to. We break them in half and use them to light wood.

    I personally would not use them in a stove.You will also void your stove warranty aswell if the stove fails or gets broken.
