MacBook Air 13 Case?

Can anyone recommend a good quality case for the Macbook Air? I will be travelling quite a lot with it and would like to keep it as new so really want something light, slim and not bulky if possible.

I've seen a few in shops and had a quick look online but I'm clueless about accessories and I'm just wondering if there's any particular cases that people here have experience with and would recommend.

The one on the apple store seem pretty pricey, I paid around €20 few years back so I would suggest to shop around

It depends on your needs. You can get cases that wraps around the laptop, or you can get a sleeve. A wrap-around case would give you full-time protection (as you can use the laptop with it on). A sleeve, on the other hand, will not protect your laptop while using it. It will only protect it while it's not in use (in your bag, for example).
What do you think suits you best?

Personally, I opted for a sleeve because I like the aesthetics of the laptop.

Very happy with it. It doesn't have a zip, so you don't need to worry about scratching the laptop. Take note that the little pocket pouches are quite small - I can get away with fitting a USB cable in there, but that's about it.

I have the same as what tyson suggested, the only issue I see with that, it doesn't have pockets for your headphone or a couple of usb cables/sticks etc.

The one Cathalog have looks pretty good and I think I may treat myself with a new year present

I would actually stay away from those cases (The Hard Shell Cover) for MacBooks, they are known to cause overheating and screen damage in some cases

I have a MacBook Air for over three years now and in my experience they wear well. I used to have one of the hard shell cases on it but after about 6 months of it I decided to ditch it. It ruined the look of my Mac.:D So far so good with mine - there isn't a scratch on it. Prior to that I had a MacBook and it didn't wear as well - the white definitely got grubbier.

At most I'd recommend a sleeve.

I think those plastic MacBooks were prone to going brown after a while no matter what.
