    ok lads posting this for a friend,as title says,lost harris hawk,dublin/Wicklow area wearing jesses and bells if any spots it drop me a p.m cheers

    if the bird is located,retreiving it shouldn't be a problem

    its not fitted with transmitter mate,got out just before dark with a full crop,and to add to that there was a good wind getting up

    Ok,gonna be heading out in morning with my own bird so will be extra vigilant around the area just in case.

    I saw one today perched on a fence beside the rugby club in edenderry, have you a pic as im not well up on them? didnt get a great view because my friend was giving the golf gti shoe

    Dead give away is if straps Is hanging from it's feet. There are wild hawks ( buzzards) in Ireland so the pic that ape owners out up is the same as one that's missing

    My friend was tipping on for 130km/h when i saw it... He wouldnt turn back for me to get a pic.

    Possibly a buzzard you spotted as a male harris would be a fair bit smaller than the above female.Try to get a pic anyway.

    That was a buzzard, I saw it too and it's always around that area.
