There is never any harm in asking the question.

A Monaco at that price would seem pretty good value depending on model and condition etc.. I would doubt you would get it at €1k but as mentioned worst they can say is no!

Itching .......might do a lowball to see.

I suspect the best discount you will get is 10 percent.

Great website, I enjoy reading their articles about the history of certain timepieces, helps make informed decisions when buying. The history of Tudor for example, I had no idea about until recently.

I made an offer. They declined. Insults didn't come into it:)
I think the level of discount depends on the popularity. Helps if you know how long the watch has been for sale

    I made one yesterday . 2100 for a watch 2750 (or 2790).

They are dear. Their asking price for the watch I bid on is higher than the brand new grey dealer price.

there are expensive, eg.traded an IWC Spitfire Chrono couple years ago, I got 2.5K for it and they are selling same now at 3.2K

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

By traded do you mean with watch finder you traded? at least with them you get protected when you are buying. Their second prices are crazy though, especially on pieces 10 yrs plus

They seem to trade on their reputation as much as anything else though, dominant online dealer + physical shop presence = enormous market share, no?
