    Hello,

For Christmas I received a gift of a Cross ATX Fountain Pen - Medium Nib. Lovely pen , but nib is much to wide for my gammy handwriting.

Can I change the nib to fine? (doesn't look likely)

Can I sell it - retails around €70.

    Cheers

Your best bet would be to ask the person who gave it to you if they still have the receipt, then see if you can bring it back for an exchange. You won't do well selling it secondhand, expect to get about 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail price.

Amazon UK is selling the ATX fountain pen for £37.19. Even with the VAT uplift and the credit card FX charge, that would be less than €50.

I've changed nibs on a fair few fountain pens. The likes of the pen corner on Dame Street in Dublin sell and fit them for you
