Setting up multiple email accounts

Just got an xperia Z2 and I'm trying to set up multiple email accounts. Got my yahoo account set up ok but I also have a gmail account and a hotmail account. When I put in all the details I just get a ''checking incoming server settings'' message. Can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong

I'm also having a problem with the stock messaging app crashing. I transferred over all my messages from my iphone, all 78,000 of them. I'm presuming it's not able to cope with the volume and I'm trying to delete some threads but it's a painfully slow process when it keeps crashing and takes nearly 10 minutes to delete a thread with only 1 or 2 messages. Anyone come across this issue before?

What app are you using for your emails? I use inomail or mailbox and dont have an issue with all of my 5 email accounts i regularly check. All my other email addys arent needed on the phone.

Regarding your messages, do you still need all that amount? Using goSms pro i was able to back up all mine to dropbox and install them back overnight.
I have never had an apple product and never will so cant say if you can do that though. Maybe try goSms pro? Its free at least

I'm using the stock email app it came with.

No don't need half that amount, just never bothered deleting any. Trying to delete them through messaging app is painfully slow and tending to crash. Just downloaded gosms pro and seems to be working much quicker :) Pardon my ignorance but does this app work in the exact same way as the stock sms app, doesn't rely on mobile data, wifi, etc.?

Depending on your android version you may occasionally get a pop up saying that the app is sending SMS messages, you just need to hit allow. Other than that it's identical
