Do Aer Lingus allow you to take on two bags like Ryanair?

Took a 2nd bag over on Ryan Air. Does Aer Lingus let you do the same?

Just wondering if I should pack it away? Cheers

If it's one of their Regional flights the aircraft are smaller and there are more restrictions on the size allowed.

The second bag is a small back pack - would this still be OK?

Basically my cabin baggage is a rucksack within the required size and my hand baggage is a small backpack. Think it's just over 10" in height though

Just before you walk up to the gate to hand over your boarding card and board, sling the smaller bag over your shoulder and carry the bigger bag in one hand. Unless the flight is totally full they will pretend not to notice that you have two bags. Also important is that when checking in, make sure that you don't get assigned a seat in an emergency exit row as that means that you cannot stow the smaller bag on the floor in which case they could decide you can't bring the two bags on board.

Exactly what Coylemj said. Aer Lingus are not too strict compared to other airlines particularly if their own staff are on the Gate. Just make sure when you are putting the bag on your shoulder you make it look light. I have seen people draw attention to themselves by moaning and groaning when lifting bags.

If the flight number is EI 3xxx then it is an aerlingus regional and their allowances are much less.

    Agree with all of this.
