1.2 renault kangoo, on a frosty morning the battery would be dead, had it checked out, it was checked out at a garage, they said that it was charging fine according to their gizmo, but to be safe a new battery should be fitted, well it was fittedb two weeks ago, i have not used it since christmas day, well today when i went to start it, it was as dead as a doornail, any off the top of the head reasons of what is running down the battery, there is an on off flashing red light on the dash when the key is removed, the centeral locking is not interfeering, as i have stopped using it, thanks folks

You have clearly got a battery drain something is not turning itself off. Time to get the amp Meter out and start pulling fuses

18? Should be no more than about 14.Charge it up and then check for a draw by removing the batt earth connection (check the radio code) and see if there is a big draw.Remove fuses one by one to see if it drops to check what's causing it. other than that, get the batt checked.
