I'm a handyman/builder and have a question about VAT on goods for tiling.

Say I can get bags of adhesive for 10euro per 25kg bag and advertise that I'm giving away free bags for any new jobs in Jan,Feb,march and I get a customer who's willing me to lay 50sq meters of tiles.

If I provided 10 free bags of adhesive and charge 20euro for another 10 to the customer, what taxes or vat am I liable for.

Am I even aloud to sell them for more than I buy for even if I'm not regiesterd for vat or do I have to pass them on for the 10euro I bought for.
