tax relief on mortgage

    hi all

    i have a 35 year mortgage with bank of ireland which i will be paying in full shortly. my question is will i lose my tax relief as i was a first time buyer .tax relief is for the first 7 years of the mortgage and i have 3 years tax relief left

    You get tax relief on the interest you pay. No interest to pay, no tax relief.
