Astra + Hot Bird in one Receiver

    Hi

I have an Amiko 8900 single tuner. Currently configured with Hotbird.
It is a dual boot receiver. ( one OS is Spark and other Enigma2).

I was wondering if I can configure the box to see also Astra. I will set up one OS with Astra, and the other OS with hotbird. You chose where to boot at startup.

My question is, can I connect both inputs from Astra and Hotbird to a signal combiner and depending where I boot, I see the channels or hot bird or Astra?

    Thanks

It should be possible to add a DISEQC switch to automatically select between the two LNBs (or dishes) just by selecting the appropriate channel all from one list without any need to reboot.
