    Has anyone ever had a login to the which consumer website and would they recommend?

    I had one for a while, I was buying a lot of large appliances - cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc.

    I found it really useful as the testing is fairly thorough and (I believe) independent although alas not always for the brand/model you want.

    It can be useful for pointing out features or issues that you might not think of yourself when buying something - for instance does washing machine have extra rinse, hand wash? how noisy is it?

    There is £1 trial offer and it's easy enough to cancel afaik.
