I am haveing trouble with my shed roof leaking I have covered it twice with felt one over the other sealed with mastic and clout nails but it still gets soaking wet inside on bad days
I need to cure it soon or it will ruin a good shed The overlaps on the felt are 5"x 6"but water still gets in I think this is called capillary action were water actually runs uphill for a short distance I need to seal it from above.
Any ideas what to use and how to apply?
    Thanks in advance

    Felt is cheap.
Do two layers, first one vertical, second one horozantal with minium 12" overlaps, or more.

Maybe the pitch on the roof is not enough to take the water away. Also if the orientation of the shed is directly into the Wind then you could also be getting Wind blown rain ingress.

Thanks a load sky6 the shed is 12ftx8ft so I dont know what the rake of the roof would be, but it is well sheltered up near a row of trees.-Thanks again!

The roof should be a minimum slope angle of 15 to 20 Degrees. Anything less is most like to suffer from water ingress. You could use Flashband to seal over all of the Joints. It has a very sticky backing and it's made for sticking to Walls and Felt.

Flash band sticks and seales better if you heat it a bit with a blow torch first.
