Lets say global warming was proven wrong and say instead we were actually heading towards an ice age.

How will you survive if such an event happens and what would you do if it was going to happen how will you plan out.

Also no nukes allowed and military fails to stop it.

(also I'm talking about an actual real life ice age with huge glaciers.)

The mammy's socks, jocks and scarf for Christmas present would find immediate use. Mammies plan for everything.

Will there be dinosaurs and raptors? A wooly mammoth would be nice too.

    Jaysus, you're fond of raptors.

Ice age? Roll out the raptors.

Big, bad, exploding sun? Yup, roll out the raptors.

Emmm. Global warming could actually trigger an ice age, bizzare as it sounds, it could happen.

    Wasn't this on after Sharknado?

    Sharknado is a classic!

I'd also like to know what Irish TV network played Sharknado so I can boycott them for the rest of my life's days?

A bottle of vodka and a bottle of sleeping pills.

That's my contingency plan for everything from nuclear war, zombie apocalypse, ice age and any other global disaster that would likely result in a slow, long, protracted death. Just get zonked on vodka first, take the overdose and slip off into a quiet death rather than wait for the inevitable horrendous one.

As said above global warming will actually (worst case scenario) put europe in an ice age.

Think of the day after tomorrow (i think)

Gulf stream is cooled by the melting of ice from greenland - trigger total climate change at a stupidly fast rate - (like a few years)

Al gore has a nice segment on it (shudder - but he is right)

the world has to heat up then it cools down in cycles

so you have to survive both

Swap the vodka for a good whiskey and I'll be behind you ;)

We would be all dead in a week, the people who lived during the last Ice Age were tough, modern humans are weaklings compared to them.

Bit of turf, and keep the immersion on for hot water, and ye'll be grand.

Climate change is what you're talking about son notglobal warming. Climate change is cyclical and is accepted by all fields, it's humans having a part in it which is at question?

I'd move myself and family South to a warmer spot.

I'd find that nice Nigerian man I've been corresponding with and go live with him - he seems like a charitable soul.

Some irony, though, if we had to abandon the country and seek asylum in countries further south - I hear their direct provision centres are great :D:D:D

Presumably there would be a collapse of government so I would stop worrying about the water charges and leave a tap running so my pipes don't freeze

I wouldn't have a hope of survival. I have no outdoors skills, can't hunt, can't forage, would probably struggle to start a fire. Pathetic really.

I'd probably kill myself to avoid been eaten by cannibals.
