Allot of the second hand ones don't work correctly so be careful if you are buying second hand. The machinery auction in Portlaoise often has one for sale. Otherwise done deal

I have one and going to go back to the salter clock. It's very annoying to work with. It keeps setting the weight and you'd have a lamb in and then realise it. Take the lamb out , press reset and then weigh. Not describing it great as on smart phone. Cost 80 euro but wouldn't buy again

I have a 300 kgs one and find it great, it zeros automatically each time

also cost €80 delivered to the door, we use it for weighting buckets of meal etc, for accurate feeding

@sea12 have you the menu set up correctly ?

Think so. The problem is when a lamb is in it it sets the weight. You then have to press reset when you let the lamb out. When you are putting in another lamb it often sets at sat 10kg and then u have to press reset as you hold the lamb back from entering it

    ok

are you dropping the scale to the ground with a handle and lifting each time?
if using a fixed scale , you should have to only reset the first time

the dial I'm using is the blue one in this link

I'm using an old crate i have for 30 years at this stage
