Trying to book NCT. "There is a problem with this website's security certificate"

When I try to book the NCT, I am getting errors related to security problems. Looks like their certificates are out of date, which I believe would make it unsafe to book a test with them (using credit cards). The errors I get are below. Anyone else experiencing this or it is just my dad's old PC?

You can book and chose to pay on the day?

    Thanks

Check what time and date is set on the PC. My mother had the same issue and when I checked, her PC time was set to 1988! She couldn't do anything online that was secure.
I have checked the cert on the NCTS site and it presents as being valid until 2018 anyway.
Might be worth a look at the PC :)

It's not related to your pc time, the error is "Mismatched address". The certificate is issued only for www.ncts.ie so if you use https://ncts.ie instead of https://www.ncts.ie you will get the error. The certificate appears valid when you connect to the site using https://www.ncts.ie

Yep, not valid for ncts.ie, only for www.ncts.ie
Check out the SSL report from Qualys:
    https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=ncts.ie
Why oh why they didn't get a wildcard cert for *.ncts.ie
A simple re-write rule or header mdofication would also have done the trick.
OP, did you go straight to https://ncts.ie ?
That would cause the error. If you go to ncts.ie (no https) and click book now, you will be redirected to https and no cert error. I connected to the website and got no cert error.

Haven't checked out Web site as I'm on phone but you can opt to pay at centre. I rather do it that way because you have to arrive at their desk anyway to show VLC picture ID and give in keys
