Laptop black screen boot

    Hi all
    Right my laptop got a hardware failure message with the blue screen and it restarted my laptop.
    Whilst restarting, the laptop went blank and anytime I boot up my laptop it stays blank and nothing happens. The fans still work and everything sounds normal but I have no idea what has happened to my laptop and I was wondering does anyone know what's wrong with it.

    Have you tried connecting an external screen to it ?

    Yeah I've tried that with no luck
