Hey lads, how should i go about applying for the DAS in 2015, as far as im aware our location qualifies. Also i don't know much about the SFP, we only had a cow or two over the last decade but but now we've expanded a bit so what needs to be done to apply/
    Thanks

You must submit an application form with maps for the land your farming to the department by May 15th. If you're in appropriate area this will automatically submit you for DAS, with regard SFP you may not have any entitlement, if so you'll start at €1 per unit (once you had a herd number in 2013). This will increase in value to 2019. The unit will be the lesser Ha farmed in 2013 or 2015. Could be best going to a Consultant for first submit if you didn't do it before
