I got a Blu-ray box-set of the first ten Star Trek movies and the book Scorsese A Retrospective.

I got Sopranos Blu Ray boxset, Gomorrah Season 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy on Blu Ray for myself.

As presents, got 12 Years a Slave, Gravity, Lincoln, Dallas Buyers Club, Fast and Furious 6 and Captain Phillips.

Got a few Blu's that I've been looking for, Vanishing Point steelbook, Gone in 60 Seconds (original), Sullivan's Travels, Love Exposure, Killers, The Long Goodbye and on DVD a copy of Weirdsville.

That was the first film I became fanatical about....when I was 9. I reckon I watched it at least once a week during the summer of 83. I still love it. The remake was awful imo.

I managed to track down a VHS rip of the original. The music and car sounds were redone for the DVD and is quite noticable.

Anyway, back on topic. Got a sweet Spielberg Book/Boxset on Blu Ray.

A 50 EURO for Xtra.

Already spent nearly half of that with the two for 15; LAWERENCE OF ARABIA coupled with TO KILL A MOKINGBIRD on BU. Then sticking in the boxset of THIS IS ENGLAND '86 and '88.

I too got the Aliens Quadrilogy but only on standard DVD with minimal special features. That said, I picked up this beaut of a book with my Xmas monies:
Alien Vault
As a fangirl for all things Aliens/ H R Giger related, I was very happy with this purchase.

I also got a copy of Xmen: Days of Future Past on DVD. Hoping to pick The Guardians of the Galaxy blu-ray soon. Easily my favorite movie of 2014. The soundtrack alone is awesome!

It looks fantastic, there is a little switch that when flicked causes a yellow hue to emanate from the egg.

On Blu-ray I got Man of Steel, Jurassic Park, Edge of Tomorrow all 3D (which I never watch but they come with normal version), plus Platoon, Oculus, The Purge and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Got the LOTR extended on DVD for €25. OH had never seen them. Loved them.
