Just read in the IMT recently that legal action was being taken about this disappearing since Feb 2012. Despite it being in the 2010 contract.
Anyone know how this is progressing.
3k a year. Fair chunk of change just to whip from a contract (seemingly illegally).

If there is legal action being taken about it, then it is sub judice.

This means that public comment upon the subject/case is forbidden.

Well it was reported in the IMT a couple of weeks ago.

Well it was reported in the IMT a couple of weeks ago.

At the risk of being accused of back seat modding, I'll answer this.

Journalists have editors, and editors have lawyers. The journalists and the editors and the lawyers have years of training and experience in what constitutes reportage and what constitutes comment, opinion and speculation.

It is permitted to report upon what has been said in evidence in open court.

It is not permitted to speculate about what evidence might be presented, and what that evidence might mean.

The average boardsie does not have the training and experience to know the difference.

Mods: please accept my apologies if this is straying too much into your territory.

I would've thought this only pertains if it could influence a jury.
There are threads every day about things that are before the courts. Should they close the abortion thread about a specific case (currently before the court) in AH for example for this reason (for fear of influencing a high court judge presumably). Not a great example but I can't think of another off the top of my head.
