For the first year ever, yes she did. A shoe bag and accessory set. Shoe bag will come in handy for all the times I'll be throwing my shoes in Charlie's boot for the boards.ie societies this year ;)

    Merry Christmas Everyone :D

So far, 24 Titleist balls with my blog address printed on them (thanks Dad), and my wife is still grinning at me... I'm hoping it's a trip to the Masters... but suspect not.

    Have a good one.

A bit bad when nobody gets you golf stuff as they know you have everything.

The good wife . The annual sub.

    She is a legend.

One round that went perfect in my life ( sub 80 )

Merry Christmas everyone! Santa left me with one or two golf pressies. Flicking through an excellent book called Golf Science by Mark Smith. Plenty of interesting info in it, just making me dying to get out and try a few things!

    Merry Xmas Folks,

Got a golf hamper from eldest son. A lot of handy stuff for winter like Benie hat, winter mitts with hand warmers, trifold towel, dozen balls, tees, pitchmark repairer and a Golfshoe bag. To top it off the hamper also contained a lesson with John Dooley PGA and a round at Lee Valley down in Cork.

Something to look forward to next year.

I got given a pair of purple nike golf trousers, a nike fleece top, a nike polo and a handful of tees. Also a voucher for American Golf, living near to the one in Dundrum and always find them great in there.

Herself bought me a Bushnell tour online......slope version.....happened to be in McGuirks getting me some other stuff last week and was asking them their price, they gave the price for the legal one and she asked for the slope one and yer man was like, ah you dont want that, its illegal....poor thing was onto the US trying to get them to send out the legal one without waiting for the slope version to get back to them, it arrives tomorrow! :)

Laser and a GPS now, slow play here I come! :)

You'll be surprised to hear that the answer is 'no'.
In fact I think the grin was of the sadistic variety... not a golfing present in sight. At least I've got my balls!

No problem buddy that would be great.:) I would be planning to get down early in the season when some good weather arrives. Have you played Lee Valley ? If so what's it like

    Lovely course actually
Few blind dogleg tee shots but very enjoyable course.

Had built up vouchers in the pro shop over the year so splashed out and got a gps watch, the Bushnell Neo xs. Never used a gps before but this looks the business, was planning on using it today but not in that weather.

In the past I played it a number of times - designed by Fred Couples and Christy O Connor jnr . It is very highly thought of - In the mad times it was big key money. Its a long course -4 hours ish for a two ball. Some very long holes. Opening first two holes are short and then you have to open the shoulders for the rest.
