    Hi all,

I am having trouble with cs6, i bring something into raw, edit it and then open the image and the picture comes up fuzzy/ noisy. it says something about ram not being enough. its a brand new computer so not sure how this is happening and it is not something i ever came across before. the only thing i have done different lately is try out 3d text etc. anyone ever come across this problem and what do you do to get around it?

Was a mac user and now a newbie windows user so dummies/ lehmans terms to fix if possible please!

Its your graphics card that is the problem. Can you get the spec of it?

Click the "Don't show again" option and you're fine. :D

It's a lack of ram on your graphics card, and means it can't render 3d images. So, as long as you're not doing 3D, then you're fine and it won't have an issue.

Obviously the more ram and video ram you have, the better. Ram for the application and video ram for rendering and displaying.

In Photoshop Preferences, not Camera Raw, found under File Preferences or Ctrl K you can turn off GPU acceleration.

still no word on what's causing the fuzzy images!
    do you have an example?

At the bottom of Camera Raw's main window there is some blue text which details the current workflow. It may be outputting low quality by default, tho unlikely since the default is to use the camera's native resolution.

    murphy and his laws........

I went to get the screen shots to show and now the bloody thing is working again! I was messing around with the button in Edit->preferences->performance and then what ever buttons were in there. didnt work last night and when i got up today to check this thread, went to get screen shots and it worked again!

If it happens again i will get screen shots and post them up for you to see here anyway.

Thanks to all for getting back and happy Xmas to you all!
