I've no doubt that they will. ATC are up for a laugh at work like anyone else. I was once transiting back through Western Radar over Wales where the extremely English ATC officer with a very holier than thou Nigel accent wished us a "Slan abaille"...........

I heard a FlyBE a while back, that got a clearance direct to the centre fix and high speed approved, say thanks and "the Christmas card is in the post!" to the approach controller :D

Shannon saying it all day, can't get over how busy they are today, one American Airlines was on requesting a level change then said "Happy Christmas" Shannon reply " guess I have no choice now but to give you one"

I'm spending Xmas in a the sister in laws house where husband and wife are ATC in Munich. They told me they only say it if the pilot says it first because otherwise you end up saying it 500 times a day and it starts on the 20th or so...so you have it for a week.

Same here. Plenty of pilots saying "thats us done. Happy Christmas" or similar - and ATC replying with similar seasonal greetings.
