New phone, how do i transfer my old data?

    I have a galaxy s5,just got the xiaomi mi4. Can anyone tell me step by step how to transfer my contacts and photos from my galaxy and if possible apps too. Thanks in advance

    If you have a google account they should all travel over to your new phone.for apps,just go to the playstore,top left you will see like 3 horizontal bars,tap them and tap on my apps, all your apps from your previous device will be there,just re install them on your new device.

    Do Samsung have a transfer tool,htc do and its very easy,download on the old phone and follow the steps there is an app called phone copier in the play store.
