I am looking to import 2 tablets as a late Christmas present, now I can either have them bought from China or USA, which will give more of a customs charge.
Anyone know how much it is generally to import these tablets, they cost me 50E including delivery.

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055862554 Looking at the top of the board would have shown you a calculator you can use to work it our yourself.

I did it for you (because I'm bored), and cost of importing something worth E50 is E11.50. Total cost is E61.50

    Thank you very much.
But is this the same for both countries USA and China

Yes it doesn't matter which country, it's the value that the calculation is based on.

Not sure if included in the calculation, by carrier will charge an admin fee for collecting the money, Anpost is about €6 others like UPS, Fedex could be about €12

I don't think it does include that in the calculation, good point :).

even bought from china/usa, the tables will be crap and if something goes wrong, you have zero comeback.

For the sake of €20, why not buy a low end tablet locally?
