    A few weeks ago on this forum someone posted a link about 3DS games, where if you buy a certain game from a list you get to download a another game(limited selection) for free. I can't find the link now. Looked on Nintendo too with no joy either. Can anyone help out? ...really soon?

    Back story: My son wanted Yoshi's New Island for his 2DS. Since he is getting a Wii U shortly for his birthday we decided to leave that out for Christmas. But he's convinced Santa is on it so now I am caving. The game doesn't seem the best so would be great if I can pick up another game and download YNI for free. Please Help!

    If you make a Club Nintendo account (on Nintendo.co.uk) and register a code for a 2DS, 3DS or 3DS XL and a code for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire or Smash Bros. 3DS you can select one free game from a list (New Yoshi's Island being one of them)

    Oh, if you want to be clever, nick his 3ds and kick the download off in sleep mode tonight. When he opens it in the morning he'll get a notifier that new software was installed and it appears as an unwrapped present on the menu (drag it to an easily spotted location before the download completes)
