Try to sign up from a different device than usual. They wouldn't allow me form the phone I use, and for some reason my laptop at home wouldnt allow it either. I'm not sure what they use for detection. I suppose with mobile devices it may the device ID. Dont know how the laptop was detected as I even treid via a UK proxy and it didnt work. So it obviously wasnt by IP.
So it worked for me from work pc.
They also have duplicate email setup detection. So the usual trick of adding a few fullstops in the gmail address won't work.

Can anyone get this to work? I tried from a different email address, different ip, different device, but no luck. It keeps telling me I am ineligible as I already signed up for a trial.

They have gotten very good if spotting multiple trial usages.

I got it finally by this:

Use a proxy/vpn to hide your IP
Use a completely different e-mail address
Use a different date of birth (it actually seams to look for date/name on previous trials)
Use a UK issues Credit Card if you have (It told me my card is issued in Ireland so would not let me use it) so I used a UK prepaid card

I hope it works with a combination of this for others.

Sure you can, it's in your welcome mail:
You've consented to get access to Spotify Premium immediately, and acknowledged that refunds are only available within 14 days and provided you haven't accessed Spotify. You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your Spotify account at https://www.spotify.com/account/ and follow the instructions.

I met all the criteria there (internet line in work, new email, made up DOB). Didnt get to the stage of entering cc etc, as it only allowed me the €9.99 trial.
What country does your proxy put you in?

I'm using zenmate (.com) which is a free browser plugin for most browsers and put the server to UK. Worked fine for me.

I'm thinking it's UK only. When you click the link it says 99p(sterling), but after entering any combination of dertails, it always comes to the €9.99 offer (euro)
Will try from home on my UK vpn later.

I got 4 of them for friends and family as presents no problem, used a VPN for UK ip. 4 of them using the same credit card. It kept saying "it looks like your card is from Ireland". But I ended up using my skrill/moneybookers mastercard and it went through 4 times no problem same card. Was only charged the 99p and I immediately cancelled all of them as soon as it signed in. Perfect, all 4 expire march 24th. Cheap present!

I'm looking into setting up one of these online. In the Account sign up page, do you put Country of residence as UK and Currency as Pound.... or does it matter?

Also should I use a VPN when setting it up? Thanks.

You could use wirecard for that, will cost you 1€ extra for the load, but still 1.99€ is not a bad price.

For UK you could use moneybookers if you have but entropay will not work, they are coded as Maltese cards.

I ended up signing up for their Family Plan - €30 for me plus 4 others.

Not as good as 5 people for €9.95 (using the above), but still not a bad deal.

Well my skrill is in euro, normal Irish account. You should provide proper names/address and stuff for skrill especially if you plan on using the account and ever need to withdraw money on it to a bank account etc. No need for vpn or UK addresses with them. I just think they can't tell what country the skrill mastercard code is. (I've not used it much lately, but I have a physical mastercard linked to my skrill, costs a tenner a year i think. I think neteller gives you a virtual card number to use, might be better to try that instead of waiting weeks for a skrill card!)

Keeps saying NO to me.. and I only had the FREE version since last week.

Not gonna throw €9.99 at this if its going around at €0.99c

Will sit back and monitor the thread......

Thanks OP. Yea, this worked with my Neteller virtual (euro) mastercard. I dont remember it being too difficult to set up. I think there's a % fee for lodging to it with a credit card but would be small change for this amount. Bank transfer is the free but slower option.

All I have is a visa debit card.
Is there a workaround for this?
