    Oh dear... It's happening again

    It began in April with this unreal and epic machine :) a car with so much character :D I've never had as much fun with a daily driver, both driving and inside.... :cool::cool::cool:

    That C200 was replaced with a C220 CDI, named Sir Jaspers Fake Taxi, as it was Jasper blue and always mistook as a taxi.... ;) No one copped....

    So we move onto the latest yoke: a 1995 C220 diesel. Some weapon to go :p

    I altered the front a bit with a black grille and clear lenses. Facelift bumper lined up and that'll do me at the front :)

    Well! Haven't been on here but I'm surprised it took this long before seeing your Merc(s) in here! That Green one is some yoke, smells a little pungent inside though :D

    I haven't forgotten about my other projects for all those wondering, just I've been swamped elsewhere. Just this is something I have to do while I have the time and resources...!

    I have a donor car bought (yesterday) along with a huge intercooler and 2 turbos to bolt onto said engine.... A K27 and the HX50 :D

    I need bigger wheels though, the steelies won't clear the brakes :( the Algenibs should see to that though, not too big that it looks Cheshire and just about right looking for that era of car :)

    I need a few bits still such as a mechanical P pump, bigger elements to fit the pump (6.5mm/7mm), a throttle cable.... Um that's really it! I'd need a clutch, new suspension all round (arms, links, joints etc), ABS module is iffy, put in my hydro and a key that locks the doors :o but I can sort these at a later date, I have most of these bits anyway :)

    So I'm on the hunt for a pump for the engine, then the fun can start, it pretty much all bolts in...! ;)

    That green C220 is my daily driver btw :cool:

    That's the thing I was very vague with pics! The 220 and 200 were very similar colour-wise and I never took pics of the car with the reg :P I guess this time I couldn't fool anyone with a standard height green one though :p

    Will make a start on sourcing a pump tomorrow, when some places open again! I have a few breakers I wanna try (pity my preferred breakers doesn't have a suitable car for breaking though...!) and hopefully I'll be able to source a pump :) I need to do a bit more reading but if I think I can modify the pump from electric to mechanical then I'll have a go at it! :cool:

    My aim is to have the car sounding and going something like this:

    I have the W211 5 spokers on the front and algenibs on the rear, I'll be sorting that tomorrow :)

    Tried S600 calipers and discs I have here, wouldn't fit :(

    I'll be getting new discs and pads as these are well worn....

    Latest figures from Simi show a drastic increase of Mercedes Benz in the Meath region clearly demonstrating a sign of the economy beginning to gain confidence....

    The 220 has moved into the yard. I have a new drivetrain, gearbox and engine lined up. Just need 2 new rear shocks, 7mm pump elements and a turbo for the engine (either the K27 I have bought or a HX35)... Then in it all goes!

    Going to use it's own fly, dmf can go and f*ck itself :p don't know what clutch to go for but I'm leaning towards a Sprinter clutch. Have dot 5.1 to put in. Still don't know where to put the hydro!

    But I'll figure something out :)
