Hi, hoping some of the more informed folk here can shed some light on this. I just noticed that my wife's car is missing the drivers side lock cylinder. It is a 2010 A4 purchased from main dealer and I did not notice this before. Could this have been an attempted break-in maybe?. There doesn't appear to be any external scratches or damage...what is my next course of action to get this fixed up....main dealer/Indy specialist?

Edit: the only thing of note was that all of the windows were down one morning when we came out. I looked this up but it seems it can be quite common and does not necessarily create suspicion.

Looks like an attempt was made...

You should get a mechanic or dealer to verify if it was tampered with or if it simply fell out !!

    Then get it repaired obviously

Edit: also the photo is upside down it seems, not that it matters.
