Hi all,

Got 2 X 15E coupons in the post from Applegreen having used my Card, filling up all year. Great. Use for Fuel, OR In Store.

So last weekend I go to my Local Applegreen, get 10E of Petrol, Sunday Papers, milk and a few bits, bill comes to 20E offered the Voucher and cash, no problem

To-day I go to the Garage beside my office, 10E in petrol, something for lunch etc, Bill is again 20E.
Offer the voucher, but NO, you only got 10E in petrol,

But can I use the balance for the other items, as the Voucher states.......For Fuel, OR in Store. NO..

OK well I will get another fiver in petrol......NO it has to be the same transaction......

Forget it, i'll pay the full amount in Cash.

Do local store managers have discretion in how these vouchers are exchanged.........does it come off their Commission......what's going on.

Or is it just that the Manager in the Applegreen beside my Office is being her usual obnoxious self

One of the two stores isn't following spec. I didn't use the card enough this year so can't check the T&Cs myself.

Its a fully owned chain, no franchises, so if you contact the head office customer care you should get a proper response. It may be that the local one was in error though.
