Does anyone have any idea when the Irish update for lollipop will be released? Could you use the polish one and change the language?

    You could.
Modem might be Polish specific though so might not get as good reception as possible. Just keep your own modem when flashing the Polish ROM.....

(haven't had the S5 so check on XDA first to see if the old modems are compatible with Lollipop. They more than likely are but the changed the efs folder on the S3 before and it prevented people going back to an older modem if they hadn't an efs backup)

The Polish one is perfect, no issues with signal, I put it on the day it was released and it's been mint since.
Make sure you do a full reset after the install though.

I also have installed the polish version since the day it was released and havent got a single issue with the phone, apps or signal.

As someone who severely dislikes touchwiz and Samsung products in general I've found the lollipop update on the S5 outstanding.

i plugged in kies and installed it. took maybe 30 mins. kies really is a heap of bloated ****e.

anyway, the main thing i notice is how very slow my phone is. i really didnt want to have to factory reset with the upgrade but it looks like i might need to.

also a couple of features seem to be missing - like customising which applications are treated as sensitive on the lock screen and allowing the phone to unlock automatically when connected to trusted bluetooth devices.

    ah well.
