    Hi guys,

Sorry I hate to be another annoying "which will I get" person but I've been trying to research laptops and I'm a little fried! I need it for everyday use, bitta browsing, watching films and some powerpoint and word processing too. I've been looking at a hp pavilion,I know a little bit about specs and such but I've seen an Asus which isn't much different so I'm looking for opinions-are these reliable and would they have a reasonable lifespan?

I can't post links but the two laptops are
purple HP 15-g094sa 15.6" Laptop with 8gb ram

    ASUS 15.6" Laptop with 4GB RAM 1TB HDD Windows 8.1 X552EA-BING-SX285B

    Hope you can help-thanks!

What website are you looking at them on?

If the Asus is the one with the AMD E1-2100, stay away.

The HP has a AMD A8-6410, assuming this is the right two laptops i'm looking at?
It is a much better CPU.

Although if you are paying near 450, I would be looking for an i5 atleast.
Argos have a good spec Acer with i5 for €449.99

Thanks for your reply, yeah that's the asus alright-I'm looking at PC world and electro city at the mo,didn't think of Argos but I'll have a look now actually...was looking at a cheaper Lenovo in PC world-the G50-70, but I thought since the hp spec is nearly double the amount and not much more in price I'd go for that! I'll look at that acer,I don't know why but I have a problem with acer-never hear much about them
