Aloha from Hawaii. Kevin has to be the best thing going for golf in Ireland. He was a major influence in helping us plan our 2 week trip. We were lucky enough to meet him and play with him. Now if I can only get him to reciprocate and join us here in Hawaii. Mele Kalikimaka--Merry Christmas in Hawaiian

    Thanks Beaulieu,

David's piece certainly has my Flickr page churning over.

I know a lot of people sniff at Twitter, but it has been an amazing medium to meet golfers and get into conversations. That's how I met David (he's not on Twitter but I was steered in his direction) and I've played golf with a bunch of guys from the US (including Hawaii), Canada, New Zealand and Europe, as a result. I can honestly say I have been very privileged.

It's one of the best things about golf - you can play with anyone and there's an instant bond. In the last 6/7 years I haven't played with a golfer I didn't get on with... and that includes you Inside The Ropes lot!

Ha ha, enjoyed our day in Ballybunion Kevin, back a year or so now, my claim to fame remains not losing a ball for that round :pac:

Kevin just when I think this game is too much of an addiction - I think of you and go, well .............. I don't think I would do that.
    Amazing stuff.

Thanks for the day out with yourself and Trapper and Hunter at The Island. I just love there, but sadly the game not there on the day.
Savage putting display from yourself. Great round of golf.

Funny one too - I hit a great drive on 4 and then Kevin hit an animal of a drive. You have a real punch of a shot that looks perfect for links golf. Get to longest ball - 30 yards past other ball - Kevin hey "fix" this is your ball back here. (lol) . Was very funny.

Have enjoyed the two books - and think Hooked is a great piece of work.
The photographs are also class on your website.

Hope you get the success you deserve - whilst an enjoyable thing you do. I admire anyone who tries to write for a living.

I think you mean anyone who writes for a living in Kevin's case, rather than tries to write?😊
