So I was told that asparatame is terrible for our bodies, and it can cause a person who is prone to anxiety to have panic attacks and make the anxiety worse.

I heard this before with phenylalanine too.

Also, caffeine, this I can relate to myself, as if I had a cup of coffee I would be shaking and I get a sense of impending doom.

    Do you guys beleive it?

Latest on them is they induce glucose intolerance by altering gut bacteria, leading to diabetes and weight gain.

The first I heard about it was mercola saying it was very bad which immediately made me believe it must be fine.
It's been pretty comprehensively studied and found to be safe for the majority of people.
Science seems to suggest it is safe. Some apparent fear mongerers like mercola and his ilk suggest otherwise. I know who I would side with currently.

Some people (like me) find the taste cloying, So it's gross, but I'm not worried about health risks or anything.
