RDS Christmas Day dinner volunteering

I'm driving to this event in a small van early on December 24th. Is there anywhere to park free of charge in the vicinity of the RDS from 9am on the 24th until 2pm on the 25th? I intend staying overnight in the van unless there's a hostel in the are that would be open on Christmas eve? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi OP,

First off fair play to you for making such an unselfish commitment on Christmas Day!
Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any hostels in the D4 area close to the RDS.
Your best bet would looking closer to town and driving out that morning.
