Hi guys.. to make a long story short.. I tipped into the back of another car.. dented in the bumper and smashed the headlamp on my drivers side only .. my car's horn now sounds like a strangled duck.. (it works grand but sounds poorly) .. I got the bumper fixed and painted no problem, it came back out perfect and headlamp is new aswell now.. only realised the horn is poor today.. The horn is obviously fecked from the crash.. Any ideas is this a big/costly job? and is there one horn or two behind the bumper?? any ifo is appreciated . Bmw 520d e60 2007

Yes, the part is behind the bumper, I'm surprised whoever was repairing the bumper didn't catch this as well. Shouldn't be too costly I wouldn't have thought...

You can find part numbers on here:

After a quick look on ebay.ie, and searching "e60 horn", I got plenty of results, looks like 50 quid to get it, and maybe another 50 or so to fit. The part may not be too expensive at a dealer, but you'll have to call and ask about that.
