I think they do BTAP and STAP combined for €450 but not fully sure cos I thought the lads with sheep in my BTAP were on a total winner but no they pay the extra E150 to be a member of both

There is a follow up discussion group set up. But the group as a whole have to qualify for it. There are marks given for young farmers and such. The payment is set at 750 as far as I know but Teagasc or the facilitator will be paid for by the department rather than it being put back to the farmer to pay.

I hope to god our group qualifies .. My best buddy a new entrant couldn't get into our group last year / I wonder will the group be now closed to new members ?

The group is as opened or closed as you want it to be. I'm not sure but I do think there is a limit on numbers per group. New blood is a great way of kicking things up the arse only thing I see is the comfort of lads talking in front of lads they know gets lost.
