Snipe numbers

Just wondering if people are seeing many snipe around? I was up around my local lake yesterday and I've never seen so many snipe. Theres usually always a good few snipe up there but yesterday was unbelievable. I've seen some threads were some people are saying their numbers are declining.

same as usual in my area plenty about don't bother with them much till after xmas .

Der is a huge decline in snipe compared to last year in my area but I'm seeing far more woodcock than last year
