    That's right, it hasn't been released, but he got a copy of it from them and loved it so much he kept playing it again and again over his weekend show and the rest, as they say, is history.

    It could well be the case that Kenny Everett helped the success of Bohemian Rhapsody, but it would be wrong to say there would have been no Queen without him. They already had a couple of hits, including Killer Queen which reached Number 2 in the U.K. charts.

    Kenny Everett was a pioneering and adventurous broadcaster. Many have tried to be funny on radio since him. Unfortunately, a lot just succeeded in being purely inane and stupid. He was original and unique.
