Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't really think of anywhere else to ask.

I'm a 25 male looking to become a Hairdresser but I'm unsure how to approach getting started. I can't seem to find a definite answer online. In order to get involved how do I approach it? Do I just walk into salons with a C.V asking if they're taking on any apprentices etc. or is there a more official route to go down?

Also anyone with knowledge can tell me if places are being inundated with people looking for an apprenticeship?
