Hi, I sold a mobile phone on eBay to someone in France, and I went to the post office to send it but they couldn't send it because it contained a battery(?), so I need to find an alternative way, can someone tell me the best way to send it to France?

UPS will send it for you. Slight problem, they will charge you about €55

Know anyone in Northern Ireland? Royal Mail will send it provided the battery is contained within the phone.

Gls parcel shop. They use road transport to france.

an post only use air mail which is where the restrictions are. Likewise royal mail offer both road/sea and air service. Only the slower road/sea service can be used for battery products.

Check parcel2go for a few couriers, GLS and TNT have some cheaper prices three. OH, and be sure to get insurance this time of year.
