How much does a 3K watt immersion heater cost to run for two hours solid non stop
I'm with electric Ireland and not sure what they charge for their units

    Thank you

It costs whatever 6kWh costs. That is assuming that it doesn't cycle on and off because the tank is already full of hot water, in which case it would use less.

Unit cost x kW x number of hours.

Cost per unit is about €0.19

€1.20 if on continuous but it will start cycling on and off when the cylinder water ceaches around 65 degrees. Usually around an hour roughly after switching on from cold/ambiernt temp.

So likely somewhere around 80 to 100 cent.
