Hey guys. I ordered a complete build from Dabs.ie this morning, around 8:00 a.m. I'm only reading now of the terrible service ye have had from them. I was hoping for christmas delivery since it says 3-5 working days on their website, reading the horror stories ye have had dealing with dabs, I reckon that's completely out of the question now, and to be honest i'm very disappointed. It's currently still in the processing stage, same as what is was this morning. Money has not been taken out of my account yet. Well, how fecked am I? I was thinking of cancelling my order earlier after reading it could take weeks for them to deliver. I really don't think I could wait more than 2 weeks seeing as i'm an impatient bastard :( How long do ye think it will actually take for them to deliver, being honest?

It does take 3-5 days once its dispatched. They suffer similar problems as HWVS in that stuff their website says is in stock can't be trusted. The problem I had was one item went missing after being sent and they couldn't get me another one so I had to order that elsewhere after finally getting a refund.Another item that arrived was not the one I ordered.

Ordering the 19th for Christmas is really too late no matter where you shop. Even if they get it dispatched from their warehouse quickly the couriers will still be up to their gills.

Yeah I realized this too. But websites like Komplette had a notice on their website saying "order before 7pm on the 19th to get X-mas delivery". So I said feck it and hoped for the best. Seriously regretting not spending the extra quid and buying from komplette. If my money is not gone from my account by the morning I may cancel my order. Or do you think i should wait until monday or something? Sorry for the loaded questions.

I think you're being pretty unreasonable to be fair. Dabs delivery is normally pretty fast once the items are actually dispatched (normally about 3 days). I bought a few things from Dabs on Thursday, and they were dispatched the same day a few hours later.

Cancelling now wouldn't really serve any purpose as I can't see you getting stuff from another site before Christmas unless you order from an Irish company.

Log into your Dabs order, it's easy to tell what's wrong with the order that it hasn't been dispatched. One or more items will possibly say something like 'awaiting stock from supplier' or something similar.

If it hasn't dispatched yet though it's very unlikely you'd see it until after Christmas.

I already know that I won't get delivery before Christmas, and yes i'm very aware that i'm being unreasonable haha :) I have a feeling they say they have items in stock, but once they're ordered from a customer, they only then will be then getting them in from china or wherever the item is manufactured. Also I'm not sure about these first time buyer security checks they have to do? I don't know, as I've said before I understand that i'm being very impatient. That's probably due to this being my first build, and I really can't help it, even it is unreasonable :(

It happens most other places as well though, every now and again you order something that says it's available but it's only on order. I have made entire 2k orders from Dabs before and everything was in stock, so it's just luck of the draw. Like I said, if you log in and look at your itemized order, it will tell you what parts, if any, are awaiting stock from supplier.
