Mains gas, turned off now won't turn back on.

Hi Waiting for a response from Bord Gais but wanted to check here also. I had to turn the gas off at the meter, was off for 5 minutes. When I turned it back on I can't get gas into the house. I turned the gas hob up full thinking I needed demand to get the flow starting, no luck. Any advice?

There is probably a small diaphragm safety switch that needs to be pressed to enable gas to flow.
