Heading to London in new year for the darts and just wondering what the story is with taking these over. I'll probably be bring to i sticks and a nautilus mini and kanger mega tank with juices.

Here's how it normally goes for me:

    1. Security check are usually the soundest of the bunch, normally they crack a joke about the size of the mods whenever I fly *wink* *wink*
    2. On most flights I've been vaping is not allowed. Consider that breaking that rule may lead to an arrest and bar from the flight company so the risk may not be worth it. However, if you spot a chill stewardess though you may ask in private if it's ok to sneak a vape vouching you'll be stealthy.
If they say no, and you're still set on doing it, make sure you've a higher resistance coil (chasing clouds is ridiculous when you're actually in them) and lower vg juice - even more, google stealth vape to see how it's done - I normally do that in bars to avoid freaking people out.
    3. Tanks and clearos will leak due to pressure changes so make sure you either keep them upside down or bring a RDA and a small dripper bottle with you to avoid leaking issues. If you must bring tanks and if you really need to vape on the plane, bring a non scented tissue, you will most likely need it.

Just back from NYC, had 4 x 30ml bottles of juice, chargers & batteries in my carry on, Aspire Nautilus & istick in my pocket, no issues at any security checks, not even a question

As regards vaping on the plane, yes I did, in my seat, was lucky to be in Business class so a bit more room, was just descrete, held in the vapour until it was gone, important to pick a juice that's not overly pungent

At the end of the flight the head steward sneaked up from behind to say thanks for flying etc, had just inhaled, couldn't respond due to a mouth & lung full of vapour, think she thought I was an oddball, timing is everything :)

It's a bit more difficult in economy if traveling alone & sitting next to someone you don't know

I'm a fairly regular flyer and the only place I've been held up is Bangalore. E-cigs are relatively unheard of in India and they were more curious than concerned.

Ouch 3 hours to London? From Ireland? Now I understand why you wanted to sneak a vape... :)

Never had a problem with security, they just laugh at the size of the evic, most airports let you vape as well, Malaga & Nice does anyway ( of course Dublin dont )
On the plane I normally ask if use of e-cigs are ok and if they say yes I still use it very discretely and very little, doesn't bother me much these days if I can't as I'm down to 6mg Nicotine ( vaping 13 moths )

On some flights I have been they announce smoking including e-smokes are prohibited. Stealth vape works fine if you are sitting by the window :D
