that's the motor tax rate for cars that live on Irish offshore islands.

    Could be PSV registered too.

    M

Would be taxed in such a way that it would be more a liability than a benefit. Would be easier driving a stolen car with valid discs.

    That is the psv rate.
    Island is 102 I think.

Even I'd you drive it till tax runs out without getting caught, you will be straight into max tax bracket at first renewal.

Motor tax is one of the least expensive running costs on such a car of that calibre. Awesome machine all the same.

It's that alright! TBH the tax wouldn't scare me, I'm already in that ripped off bracket, just the €96 peaked my interest : )

Serious Serious car for the money!

Bit of a stupid ad really, €95 tax is for a limousine or taxi, and in order for the new owner to get such a tax rate they would need to provide a lot of stuff like commercial taxi insurance, tax clearance certificate, taxi licence, taxi NCT etc. etc.

Rallying ta fuc up and down the length of the aran islands :pac:.

€95 rate only applies to PSV's (Taxi,Hackney & Limo), and School buses :D.
But the NCT site is letting me proceed with a booking. If it is NCT'd as a PSV then the NCT site wouldn't let the booking proceed, it would direct me to the PSV 'Hotline'.
Reg is 07 C 13009....hard to make out on the Ad.

On the seller's own site he has the mileage at 98,000 miles. On DD it's down as 170,000. Even converting 98k miles to Km's only gives 156,800. Somebody's a bit confused at Kima Car Sales.

I'd love someone in the Dail to ask the minister for transport how many cars are taxed and insured for the Aran Islands but used on the mainland

It is a scam going on for years

This is not an island tax case. Its psv.
Maybe in certain areas the island tax is being abused. I've not seen a single car personally in mayo.
