    Who wins?
Golovkin (present day) vs Roy Jones Jr (prime)?

I saw this question asked somewhere and thought it was an interesting one.

I answered RJJ for now, but that my answer might change after seeing GGG against a top middle weight.

I think based off what I have seen from both that Jones will be a little too slick and fast and elusive for GGG. Never really allowing GGG to establish an offensive rhythm. Constantly moving and punching and digging in at close quarters. He has the power to also gain GGGs respect. No, Roy was too much for GGG. That lightning lead right and powerful left hook will really bother GGG.

Roy is one of the greatest of all time, pound for pound probably the best boxer of the 1990s. As great as Golovkin is, he's not in them sort of leagues yet.

Right now with the evidence on show it has to be Jones Jr

Roy as it stands but GGG still hasn't come into his prime, or taken on and beaten the opponents that'll carry him to the next level.

Jones is a bigger man as well, GGG is not a massive middleweight and Jones fought at middle for less than half of his career.(27 out of 67 fights)
Also in his prime Jones must be one of the greatest athletes ever to get into the ring.

There's not too much in it size was. Jones wasn't that big a Middle, he moved up due to lack of competition more than anything else, and was actually a very small Light-Heavyweight, frequently coming in several pounds under the limit.

Size wouldn't be the issue here, Golovkin not being able to cut off the ring and push Jones back like he does everyone else would be the problem. I see Jones outboxing GGG for a clear decision here, too much lateral movement.
