Hi guys, I just recently passed my assessment centre after applying in June. I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough indication of the timeline to expect on the rest of the process, ie vetting, PCA etc?

    For me it was:

    IST - september 13
    AC - january 14
    AC results - March 14
Vetting forms received - August 14
    PCA - October 14
    Medical - November 14
    Online learning - November 14

For me, it's a pretty similar timeline as above.

Depends on your AC score as to how quick you're phased through the PSNI stages.

Do you mind my asking what score you got in the AC?

Ah right ok, I'll be waiting a while by the sounds of it. I got 72.75% (A). Just hoping I've done enough!

The timeline above, which I'm sure CDizzle doesn't mind me saying, is for us guys who scored in the low 60s last time round. When you are processed depends on your AC score.

I know in campaign one that anyone scoring 70 and above was processed first. The batches were roughly around 100 candidates every 4-5 weeks or so, working from top of the list down the scores. We'll have to wait and see if it'll be the same deal again.

Oh ok, might not be too bad. Do you mind me asking if you guys got a job offer in the end then after making it onto the merit list?

Don't forget to add in the factor that there are still maybe 2 or 3 squads left from campaign 1 to get through

It's difficult to predict the time line

Just kick back and relax and wait for the vetting forms would be my advice

And just to mix it up and make you realise that it doesn't always go to plan......

    IST September 13
    AC jan 14
    Vetting March 14
    PCA April 14
    Medical June 14

Vetting passed end of august and I had to repeat my PCA in November 2014 as it expires after 6 months but had to defer to Jan 2015 cos of an injury then I'll have to repeat my medical after that too!

Sit back relax and just get on with your life. Don't put anything on hold or off hoping for the next stage or a phone call. Definitely save you a lot of heart ache

    May 2014 Medical
    June 2014 Offer of employment

I hear you. I have decided just to let the recruiting process work away in the background for me and get on doing things I want to do. There are other jobs I believe I will find interesting and hopefully get a chance to try for them also if the dream job doesnt become reality for me this time.

I thought campaign 1 was only running until March? I was wondering what they would do with the ones who have passed everything but don't get a phone call in February's batch of calls???
