Just witnessed a guy getting t-boned by a taxi at Christchurch - cyclist coming on a mtb from jury's towards vicar street, <snip> Horrible impact. Cyclist looks hurt. Plenty of witnesses including a car travelling behind the cyclist who's stopped to help.

Hope the guys ok, that can be a dangerous junction with the traffic coming from all directions.

Yeah always paranoid travelling along there. And any junctions with filter lanes. He was hit at speed - impact took him across to the central reservation.

Yeah there's some dangerous ones with filter lanes, I always find it a bit ropy coming up Patrick Street/Clanbrassil Street towards Christchurch with some cyclists going straight on, some going left up High Street & drivers trying to maneuver through the same area. Surprised I haven't seen an accident there yet!
