I've purchased a new bed for myself and was thinking of donating my old bed to a homeless shelter for Christmas and was wondering how would I go about doing this. I'm in the Dublin 8 area.

Apologies if I'm in the wrong forum, and I'd be obliged to a Mod if they could direct me to a more appropriate forum.

Maybe get in touch with Peter McVerry Trust, they're in the middle of getting a disused building on Pim Street in Dublin 8 turned into a homeless shelter.

Try SVdP , they may take it for someone in a bedsit or someone they visit.
